Privacy Policy

Your files never leave your device — we mean it.

Last updated: May 2026

Short version

All file processing happens in your browser. We never upload, store, or see the contents of your files. We collect anonymous usage analytics (which tools are used, language preference) via Google Analytics — no personal data. That's the whole story.

What data we collect

We collect as little as possible. Specifically:

  • Your files: Never uploaded. Files are processed entirely client-side using JavaScript libraries. They never touch our servers, never enter our infrastructure, and are wiped from memory when you close the tab or navigate away.
  • Anonymous usage: Via Google Analytics 4: page views, tool usage events (which tool you opened, file size in KB, language preference), and standard browser/device metadata (browser type, country, screen size). No personally identifiable information.
  • Local storage: Your browser stores: language preference (so we remember your language next visit), recent files list (just filenames + sizes, no contents — used to show your history in the sidebar), and favorite tools list. All stored in your browser's localStorage, not on our servers. Clear your browser data to remove.

Third-party services

We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous analytics, Vercel for hosting, and Cloudflare (for some CDN assets). These services may set their own cookies — see their respective privacy policies. We do not run any advertising networks (no display ads currently).

Your rights (GDPR & similar)

Under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we don't collect personally identifiable information beyond what Google Analytics aggregates, there is no individual profile we maintain. If you want analytics data purged, you can opt out via Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
